Professional Essentials Series is a 5-part development pathway designed to strengthen the confidence, clarity, and career awareness of allied health support professionals. Each module builds the foundational skills needed to thrive within interdisciplinary teams, advocate for your role, and operate with excellence in every setting.
Module 1: Know Your Role, Own Your Power teaches you the core expectations, responsibilities, and boundaries of your position — whether you are an SLPA, COTA, RBT, PTA, or another support professional. By understanding the true scope of your role, you gain the confidence to communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and step into your professional identity with purpose.
This module breaks down what your job is (and is not), how to navigate common workplace misunderstandings, and how to show up as a valued, respected member of the clinical team. You’ll learn how to align your actions with your role, advocate appropriately, and build trust with supervisors and colleagues.
